Bio: Hi there and welcome! My name is Sydney. I'm 26 years old, a software consultant, and just recently moved from Atlanta, GA to Boston, MA. I'm a huuuge fan of embracing change (maybe that's why I work in software) which has helped me find my truest passion in life - travel. What's better than trying new foods, seeing new places, meeting new people, and just generally getting out of your comfort zone?! Ironically enough I grew up in a family that rarely traveled, so it wasn't something I was born into. Even still, they have always been my biggest cheerleaders and some have even tagged along for a journey or two! But my love for travel wasn't fully discovered until I was in college. I first started this blog in 2015 when I traveled to Honduras on a service trip, and then during 2016 and 2017 I did some major traveling; I studied abroad for 5 months in the Czech Republic and then later backpacked Asia with my boyfriend for almost 3 months. At the time I primarily used this blog as a method of keeping my family and friends informed on where I was, but I'm here now in 2021 to bring some life back into it and use it as a place to document my journeys to hopefully help and inspire others! So far I've visited 33 countries and 30 US states. Let's see where the road takes me next! Xo, Sydney
